Last summer I had an encounter with one of the many freeze-dried food companies here in Utah. As you can imagine, there are lots and lots of them. Unfortunately the encounter did not go well. I found them to be dishonest, deceitful, and far too pushy. (Author's note, this is a previously published article from our "Best of Collection" with a few modifications to reflect the challenges of today.) Preparedness is a full-time focus for me as opposed to a hobby or a trend.
