They are a cesspool for who knows what. I get some mighty strange looks about that. Gas pumps also gross me out. I did not know about the ice thing though. Lemons, I already figured as I waited tables. There was always a pair of tongs, but many servers don't use them. Glad to know that I am not a weirdo with my warfare on germs attitude! Never thought about lemons. Local Golden Corral buffet has hand sanitizer at the entry/tray line and I've noticed people using it.
